Araguani is a single origin chocolate made from prized cocoa beans from Venezuela. It is manufactured by French chocolate maker Valrhona, and the beans that make up this lovely chocolate are sourced from small select plantations that Valrhona have direct relationships with. This ensures quality cocoa beans, and a sustainable supply, which has meant that this chocolate has become a firm favourite amongst leading pastry chefs.
Araguani is often compared to a fine wine, with high tannins and a long finish. The flavour is of currants, chestnuts, honey and freshly baked bread.
