Mast Brothers Chocolate In The UK
We are delighted to announce that we are the first internet company here in the UK to offer the delicious chocolate bars from the Mast Brothers. The video below provides a great introduction to these two young brothers who are making some of the most exciting chocolate bars in the world today.
As bean to bar chocolatiers, they are passionate about sourcing the highest quality cocoa beans to go into each of their bars. The process starts when they take delivery of the beans to their Brooklyn based factory. Once delivered, the team will sort through all of the beans by hand to sort the beans into size profile, which will dictate what type of roast the beans should received. Once sorted, the beans are roasted and then they start the chocolate making process.
The brothers are proud to only add organic sugar to their beans, and they avoid adding any extra cocoa butter, vegtable oils, vanilla or soya lechitin, as they believe that these additions dumb down the flavour of the real chocolate.
The result of this labour of love is some of the finest tasting chocolate that we have tasted. We have selected six of the range of bars to introduce to the UK market, and these are: Grand Cru, Dominican Republic, Madagascar, Venezuela, Fleur De Sel, Almonds & Sea Salt.
